Which Medicare plans are available in Texas?+

Texas seniors typically have access to dozens of Medicare Advantage plans (including $0 premium HMO and PPO plans), Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans A, B, D, G, K, L, M, and N, and standalone Part D drug plans. Available plans vary by ZIP code.

When can I enroll in Medicare in Texas?+

Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is the 7-month window around your 65th birthday. Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs October 15 – December 7 every year. Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment runs January 1 – March 31. Texas has no state-specific Medigap open enrollment beyond federal rules.

Do I have to switch agents if I already have Medicare?+
